We are dispensing with many typical wedding elements. We won’t have a normal wedding cake. Instead, we will have other tasty individually-sized desserts. There will be minimal flowers. The reception site will be decorated with citrus and fruit. In fact, we hope everyone takes some fruit home with them. Also, the site doesn't allow for throwing/dropping/flinging items like rice or flower petals. We hope and expect the event to be joyful, and don’t think most people will deeply miss bouquet tossing, doing the chicken dance, etc.

So, what will there be?

Susannah will be wearing a long beaded ivory silk dress. She will have a veil.
Christopher will be wearing a tuxedo of some sort.
There will be food.
There will be dessert.
The hall will be decorated.
Everyone will look pretty (we hope).
There will be music at the reception, and after about an hour, the music will turn to something folks can dance to. There won’t be a first dance, but there will be room for dancing. We hope you feel comfortable joining in.
